Sadly, this bar has now closed down.

The entrance along Mill Hill.

This was the last place we visited on our Friday night Mill Hill pub crawl, and we found it decent enough. They have one real cider and three real ales, including Golden Pippin and the guests Havercake and Loxley. All good quality, which was fortunate since they had nothing notable in the fridge.

There are two large rooms, and all the patrons were there to watch the Leeds v. Sheffield Wednesday match. Even though it was obvious we were there just to have a drink and definitely not regulars, everyone was friendly and welcoming to us. We easily could have enjoyed a couple of pints there, though we were a bit eager to exit before any goals were scored, for fear of ensuing rowdiness. (Did I mention we’re really not sports fans?)

The bar, with most people facing the TV screen to watch the match.

There’s not really much more to say about this venue, except that the vending machine in the ladies’ toilet sells inflatable penises for £4. I guess you never know when you might need one of those.
